The Music Journey
Lisa began her music journey at the age of 7, when her father's influence sparked her passion for the guitar. Throughout school she eagerly joined every musical opportunity she could, from school bands to jazz ensembles and even garage bands. In high school she performed at talent shows and parties, always looking for a full band experience.
At 20, Lisa's path crossed with local musicians Tony Ortega and David Perez, leading to a remarkable seven-year run of performances across South Texas. Her powerful voice and guitar skills resonated with audiences at all kinds of venues and occasions. Then life took a turn, and she stepped away to raise her daughters.
But music has a way of calling us back. An old friend drew Lisa into the scene once again, and now she can be seen around Corpus Christi sharing soulful performances and her unwavering love for music.
